STUD NEWS - MOONLIGHT PONY STUD

Moonlight Oberon has been sold to Beth Eldred and she has gelded him and is preparing him for harness which I'm sure he will do very well at. We have purchased a beautiful colt from Anne Ryan at Meadowvale Stud, his name is Meadowvale Mister Riley and he is brown and full of chrome. He will be standing his first season this year at Moonlight Pony Stud. He is Section A and just a real loving boy. We only have 1 foal due this season by Valley View Sir Walter out of our B supreme Champion mare Milo Arwen. Of course we are hoping for a filly.

NEXT QLD RPG MEETING - Sun 4th July

The next Qld RPG Meeting will be held on Sunday 4th July 2010 at Marburg Community Hall. 10am. All members welcome.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST INVITED - YOUNGSTOCK SHOW

Calling for Interest in a Youngstock show for Queensland.

Member Kim Quodling is trying to guage the level of support there is for a youngstock show to be held at the end of this year. Possible Dates 2nd or 4th weekend of November and on the North side of town with the idea of making it accessible for as many members as possible. It will be a one day show only. Please note, I am not personally on the North side of town so will need to travel to get there myself. The choice of location is meant to open it up to members who find getting to our All Welsh challenging.

Possibly a Mountain and Moorland show. This will depend on interest.

For the Qld Committee to support the show we would need commitments from people prepared to organize the show and host it. I am prepared to organize but will need some assistence. Without a certain level of commitment I will not proceed so only promise what you are prepared to deliver. Please email directly with ideas, commitments or support for the show. STUD NEWS - EDGE HILL PONY STUD

Barn Hill Buzz, the lovely rising 3 year old gelding won Champion Welsh at the Childers show and Barn Hill Francis took out the honours at the Gayndah show.
Edge Hill Stud has been lucky enough to purchase the section D black mare Hillswood Sweet Celebration. She will be shown in hand and under saddle.
We are awaiting foals from Barn Hill Fynnigon and Weston Park Vesper.
We also have a lovely palomino section A gelding Flowerdale Tequilla for sale , broken in and going well ridden by a 7 year old.
