Lyn Macdonald reports that the Bowmun Park Stud 2010 show season began with a very successful show at the Mareeba All Breeds Horse Show in May. With our show team of six Welsh ponies we took out champion in most pony classes entered. Our most successful pony being Wattles Spring Flower, our black Welsh B mare, taking out Champion in all classes she was entered in and then being awarded Supreme Champion Led Exhibit of the show. Atherton Agricultural Show was also a very successful show for W. Spring Flower winning Champion in all pony classes she was entered in and Grand Champion Pony of Show and then Supreme Led Exhibit of Show.
Innisfail Agricultural Show was held on the 15th & 16th July, this show was also very successful for Bowmun Park Stud. This time our buckskin Welsh A mare Wattles Lady Hawk won Supreme Champion Led exhibit of show.
Bowmun Park was successful in winning Supreme Led Exhibit of Cairns Show 2010 with our Welsh "A" stallion Wattles Lady Killer. (pictured above)
Wattles Lady Killer was also sashed Supreme Led exhibit at Tully Show and Grand Champion Male exhibit at Charters Towers Show.
